Giovanni de Angelis is a sculptor from Ischia Porto, who at just 11 years old received the “Young Artist’s Award” in Milan.
In 1950 he trained in Zurich with Swiss sculptor Haller. In 1954 in Ischia he met the poet Eugenio Montale and sculpted him completing his first ever piece.
Born on Ischia in 1976, the artist lives and works in Naples.

The artist’s attention has always been drawn urban aspects; her first pieces reflect city panoramas, which are mainly realistic but sometimes superimposed.
