Ischia Diving Centre is located in the port of Ischia and is made up of a team of staff who run diving courses for small groups allowing you tot discover the secrets the sea this fascinating island has to offer.

Around the island of Ischia, part of the Protected Marina Area “Regno di Nettuno” with numerous diving spots suited to all levels; of particular interest are the sea- beds of Sant’Angelo which is one of the deepest and most spectacular of the island of Ischia where divers can admire forests of red sea- fans (Paramuricea clavata) and colonies of black coral (Savalia savaglia). is f the most renowned diving centres on the island offering a range of courses for all levels, exploring the splendid sea-beds of Ischia.

The centre was opened in 2007 by a group of professional PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) from the renowned Ponza Diving Centre, successfully operational for over 20 years.

Most excursions are carried out on the centre’s prized boat, il Nettuno, a completely restored fishing boat at 16m; the boat’s stern is completely kitted out for scuba- diving with equipment space and a kitchen, while the upper-deck is equipped with a bathroom and cushioned sun-bathing area, ideal for relaxing moments taking in the sea breezes. The boat is well-equipped and designed so divers can leave mounted equipment on board, as it is equipped with 2 compressors at 16,000 l/h with immediate loading, without having to change cylinders and with suitable closures for night safety.

Excursions and lessons are carried out around the Flegrean islands of Ischia and Procida, exploring the crystal-clear sea-beds rich in marina flora and fauna. Ischia Diving Centre is situated in Ischia Porto within easy access by car, taxi and on foot from the centre, hydrofoil and ferry port, taxi rank and bus-stop.
