Chemical analysis carried out on the thermal spring water present at Hotel Regina Palace has established that the mineral is hyper-thermal with salt-alkaline elements. The waters contains sulphur, iodine, chlorine, iron, potassium elements and active micro-elements. The water contains healing properties useful in certain conditions and illnesses, including rheumatism, arthrosis, nevralgia, psoriasis, respiratory illnesses and seborrhoeic skin conditions. Among the numerous treatments and facilities are thermal baths, ozone-therapy, showers, mud masks, Turkish baths and inhalation treatments.

Mud treatments, as well as leaving the skin soft and supple, also stimulate the immune system, and serve as an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving treatment, and are also relaxation and help release toxins from the body.
Thermal baths with added ozone are practised after mud treatments strengthening the beneficial effects of the thermal water; the ozone bubbles stimulate circulation penetrating mineral salt properties into the skin.
